Kelly+Partners continues to work hard to bring you the latest updates when it comes to COVID-19 business restrictions and support measures. Please note the following update to JobSaver eligibility and the impact it may have to your business.
JobSaver Reconfirmation
Due to the requirement to confirm JobSaver eligibility each fortnight, it is possible that businesses may oscillate in and out of JobSaver until the end of the program.
A business can oscillate in and out of JobSaver from 11 October 2021 depending on whether you continue to experience a decline in turnover of 30% or more due to the public health order for a particular fortnight.
Payments were made for the three fortnights from 30 August to 10 October 2021, irrespective of whether the business confirmed its eligibility. You will now need to confirm your eligibility to receive payments moving forward. If you are now ineligible for payments, please contact Service NSW.
A Service NSW reminder email will be sent every fortnight so businesses can confirm whether they're eligible for the period.
Any business that is ineligible and has received an overpayment will need to pay this amount back. Service NSW will advise how to repay overpayments shortly. In the meantime, we recommend setting aside the funds so they are on standby when needed.
You can apply directly here or confirm your eligibility here. Please get in touch with us if you have any issues applying or assessing your eligibility. For the latest on JobSaver's fortnightly confirmation requirements, please click here.
