Joan is a Senior Partner at KellyPartners+FRS North Carolina.

Joan is a Senior Partner in the Cary, North Carolina office, with a primary focus on franchise accounting, business valuation, taxation, and succession planning for owner/operators. She has over 30 years of accounting experience serving businesses of various sizes and has been working with McDonald’s franchisees since 1996. Additionally, Joan is a founder of the firm’s Next Gen Workshop providing financing training for Next Gens.

Joan currently serves as the Vice-President of NFCA (National Franchise Consultants + Accountants). As an active board member, she assists in the planning of the annual NFCA meeting, serves as a business advisor to the NFLA Executive Committee, and represents NFCA as a consulting member to the NFLA Economics Team. Additionally, she supports the NFLA by attending meetings to stay on top of the challenges faced by owner/operators.

Joan is an affiliate member of W.O.N. (Women’s Operator Network), and an active participant at a variety of diversity group conferences including MHOA, NBMOA and W.O.N. business conferences. She is also a former board member, and current finance committee member for Ronald McDonald House of the Triangle.
